I find it kind of silly really, but there will be times I stumble upon songs that I just can't get enough of and than I continue deeper into research to find interesting things or come across more bands. When this happens I get overly excited, really really excited...maybe even slightly giddy. Anywho, I'm a big fan of the online radio station Real Industrial Radio. Everytime I listen to it they play a station ID where they play a few seconds of some songs and I always here this song with the lyrics "pray for love, we dance..." and so I went looking for it by just typing in the lyrics into Google. This took me back to RIR forums section where someone asked the exact question. The band turned out to be called Edge of Dawn and the song "Pray For Love", go figure. So I found the song and downloaded it from YouTube. Since I really liked this song I decided to look at their website and listen to some more songs from them. To my big surprise, the singer is none other than Frank Spinath from the band Seabound who I am also fans of. This is turn got me listening to more of both bands and hoping one day they will come close enough so I can see them live.
* I have come to the conclusion that I love mostly German Synthpop/EBM/Industrial type bands...It started with Wolfsheim than And One, De/Vision, Seabound, Camouflage, Edenfeld, VNV Nation (not originally from Germany but now reside there), etc. Though I do have a list of non-German bands who I also quite enjoy*
For convenience purposes, I added videos of the song "Pray For Love" and a remix. I have added a song by Seabound as well just in case you are interested.
The video is cruddy, but its just the music you should listen to.
"Pray for love
We dance
To an inaudible drum
Stay for love
In the light
Of an invisible sun"
I really like this remix from the Elektrisch Vol.3 Disc 2:
And for Seabound:
